Many of us have friends or family members who have battled cancer. Often, the personal and emotional side effects of chemotherapy are loss of hope, dignity and self-worth. Hug A Heart Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Our mission is to empower, encourage and boost the self-esteem of cancer patients.

Cancer treatments are very traumatic and many patients encounter challenges in their physical appearance. Changes that may occur include:

• Hair loss
• Loss of eyebrows
• Changes in skin color
• Dryness
• Dark circles under the eyes

We Serve Cancer Patients in our Local Communities and Surrounding States by:

• Designing and sewing Hug A Heart Hats
• Delivering complimentary hats to cancer patients in hospitals
• We sew, package and deliver Mastectomy Heart Pillows to local hospital and infusions rooms
• Providing complimentary hats, wigs, scarves and skin care products in our Hug A Heart Room
• Sponsoring Hug A Heart workshops in our local communities
